Minutes of AGM 8th September

The AGM was held at the Wheatsheaf

The Treasurer’s Report was accepted.
There was a surplus of £26.06 this year, leaving a balance of £118.85 going
into the new season.
The results of the published proposals
were as follows:
1.
Organisation: Russ
Eaton to continue.
2.
Quiz providers: Remain with Quizit, fees remain at £54.50 per team.
3.
Team Subscriptions: Reduced to £60.00 for Season 2008-9.
4.
Match Dates: 10/10/08
- 01/12/08 & 05/01/09 - 16/03/09 assuming 17-20 teams again.

There has been none of the trouble with teams losing their
pubs this year, and I have already had confirmation from most of the teams of
their intention to play again this season. Additionally, I have been informed
of three new teams who are interested in joining and will be contacting them
soon.

The Farnham Herald is to be approached with regard to
running a short piece inviting entries for this season and also for the regular
publication of the results, as has happened in the past.

A mailshot targeting some of the more likely pubs, particularly
previous players, is to be sent out.
